You Make the Grade!

Hey all!  Woooohooo! It's finally the last day of school- at least for the kids-I still have to come for an Admin. day-but it'll be quiet and quick day!! Here's another teacher appreciation card I wanted to share. I made this one for  the K-1 teacher who is leaving our little school after teaching for 3 years. She is getting married in a few weeks and their hometown is a few hours away, so it only makes sense that she would want to teacher closer to her new home and hubby!  Thanks for all your hard work and dedication-Good luck to you, Lynne-we'll miss you!
 I used this super-cute Pure Innocence stamp by Heather Ellis, available at Simon Says Stamp. The papers area all from Michael's-don't remember the name-Creative Inspirations, maybe? Snowman in August and Some Fab News!

Hi all! I'm so excited to let you all know that I am now a member of the Pink Cat Studio Design team! I'd like to thank Melissa for choosing me-it's such an honor!! And also to Prairie Fairy and Susie for helping me technically to get my work published and known! Of course-thanks to all my followers and other teammates for their support, advice and encouragement! It means a lot to me! Here are the members of the team (some of them you probably already know! The star indicates a new team member!! They are Beth Ranney-Thomas*, Emily Leiphart, Jane Matsumoto, Lysa Rohrer*,Mackenzie Bruckler, Maria Bell, Patty Tanuz*, Piali Biswas, Sally Atkins*, Tori Hemmingway, and myself! My first card and new digis will be released on Thurs, August 12th. I'll be releasing my celebratory candy as soon as I hit 200 followers, and my 200th follower will get an extra little goodie! Well, Here is my card for this week's challenge at DCD Christmas Challenge. The theme is Snowmen. The image is from Pure Innocence by Heather Ellis and the Dps are from my colorful Christmas by My Mind's Eye! Well, it's back to the grindstone next week, so I can get my class ready and organized for September. Where did the Summer go-it sure flew here OMG!! Isn't that always the way? I've even bought most of the back to school clothes and supplies for my kids, while I was away in the city at my big sis's place! That's the stuff I love to do. Ahhh! The smell of new paper and erasers. Especially 3M scotch tape!LMAO. I'm not just saying that because I'm a teacher-I've always been like that!! Crazy, huh?I hope u like! T-Bear :)

Hi, it's me!

I was so excited yesterday, after getting some awesome news from a special friend, that I made 4 cards last night!! Stay tuned, because I'm going to have another yummy blog candy give-away next month to celebrate my DT position over at Susie and Vikki's! I made this card last night because the image (Pure Innocence) has been colored for a while and I just got some new DCWV papers from Chapters last week that I wanted to use.And, I even stiched it!!
