Hey all! Hope you've enjoyed your week-end! We've been bombarded with snow! Only one more day until February starts- I can't wait!! I love decorating for Valentine's Day-my son's birthday, as well! of course I have to incorporate his themes, but his year he told me he didn't want a theme-so hearts prevail will in my house! The theme for this fortnighly challenge at Totally Tilda is to create a card for the one you love and you have to use hearts in your creation! My card has a heart doily and two heart brads and the sentiment is self-explanatory and created by Prairie Fairy. I love this Tilda image to bits. My papers are from K & Company, flowers WOC. I'm entering the following challenges: Craft Your Days Away (Love), Mark's Finest Paper (Valentine's Card), Simply Create (Give Your Heart Away), Charisma Cardz (Valentine/Love) and Mami Doodles (Magic of Love). Can't wait to see your creations! Hope u like! xox :)
Hey gang! Yay, it's finallyFriday and January is almost over!! People who know me well know that I hate January! It's cold, it snows, flu germs, kids coughing, it's cold, it snows...LOL So I'm excited for February!! My son is a Valentine's baby and I love to decorate the house in pinks and reds. Of course, he hates it now, but as a toddler he "woved it"! So, I loved making this cutie with one of my favorite Prairie Fairy characters-Gillian! My daughter asked me when I was coloring this image-"why do you color her glasses turquoise blue all the time?" I guess I think of Gilly as my alter-ego. I got my first pair of glasses when I was 10, and guess what color they were? Yup, the same color-Then, when I was around 12-13, I got the Sally Jessy Raphael glasses in a similar color!! Big helmet hair, braces and blue rimmed glasses- Very CHIC-thank God the 80's are over!! The challenge this fortnight at Fairy Fun Fridays is to make a card for a sweetheart! I don't know to whom I will give this yet!! No sweethearts here! Maybe my daughter-depends on who behaves well from now until then!! I'm entering the following challenges: Charisma Cardz(Valentines, Love), Delightful Challenges , Meljen Designs(Include/Make something with a Heart) and A Spoonful of Sugar (Valentines). Hope u like! xox T.
Hey all! Pink Cat Studio is releasing a new set of "Alice in Wonderland" digis today and a freebie with every purchase made today as well. Click on the image icon above to get to the site! The freebie is the set of stacking teacups. I'm a huge fan of Walt Disney-had all the cartoon movies and of Tim Burton, but I have to say Burton's version "Wonderland" rocks!! I may have watched it 20 times with my daughter! Johnny Depp and those eyes-mesmerizing!! LOL. So, to say the least, I had fun making these two cards. The buttons on the Mad Hatter's card are from my grandma who recently gave me a shoebox full of vintage buttons! Love them! My papers are from CTMH-the cherry line. I'm entering the Mad Hatter in Cards for Men (Let's Party!) hey-it's the Mad Hatter-you never know what he has up his sleeve-isn't he always up for a tea party?!, All Sorts (For a male/boy) and in Aly's Sunday Challenge (For the guys) and my Alice card in Gem of a Challenge (Ribbon and Lace), Tip Top Tuesday (Fab Flowers), Flourishes (Add some hardware) and Crafty Cardmakers (Floral). Hi gang! Do you like my new blog lay-out? I absolutely love it-it fits me to a tee! Prairie Fairy made it for me, as she also does blog deisning too! So to celebrate, I made a Tilda creation- actually had time tonight! Very rare lately! I'm entering Magnolia Down Under's Challenge (3 R's). I recycled the corrugated cardboard from plate inserts/protectors I bought in the city the other day, the ribbon is from a gift box from the Body Shop, the leaves are from my wedding bouquet that I finally took apart this year, when I was moving, the buttons are all oldies that my grandma passed down to me and lastly that kraft paper oval is from the back of a Jolee's sticker package you get at Micahels! I think I did good with the 3 R's!! I'm also entering Paper Pretties (sewing),Magnolia Stamp Lovers (being sentimental), and Tuesday Throwdown (distressing). Hope u like! xox Trisha

Hey gang! I have a funny story-maybe some of you bloggers can relate. My good friend Lori and I are teammates for Do It with Digis and when I saw she had used the same image I had chosen (which we do all the time!!) I told myself that my dress would have to be purple. It's only after I had cropped and photoshopped my piccies did I realize my huge mistake!! I even altered the color to try and make it look pink, but it looked like I smeared Pepto Bismol all over it! So now, I'm sitting this one out as a DT member, but I am still promoting this fortnightly's challenge, at Do it with Digis, which is PINK and GIRLY! We were so kindly sponsored byDi's Digi Downloadsand she supplied us with these cute girly images. She is also giving the winner 5 digis of their choice. Also, if you use a sentiment from Sentiments 4 You, you can win a $10.00 gift certificate to the on-line shop!! I'm entering the following challenges Creative Belli(anything with 'P') Mine's Purple, and Karber's Weekly (Use a digi and ribbon). Hope u can still enjoy looking at this card! xox Trisha

It's called Do it with Digisand I happen to be a member of the fabulously talented DT. The theme for this challenge is to use a digital sentiment indicating something "new", like a job, baby, house, etc... and use a digital image. My image is baby Dillon and is available at Prairie Fairy, the sentiment is from Lynne's digi store: Sentiments 4 You. Hey gang! Happy New Year! Can you believe it's 2011? Hopefully everybody celebrated amoung family and friends! I had fun with my kids over at some friends, skating on the river, playing hockey, eating marshmallows by the fire-it was great! The theme for this fortnightly Totally Tilda challenge is to use ribbons and roses in your creation! I was supposed to give this trinket box as a gift for my daughter for Christmas, but only finished it on the 28th of Dec.! She was ecstatic when she saw it- and I owe all the credit to my good friend and fellow DT member, Lori, who made a beautiful wall hanging for her daughter Bailey and won the Shabby Chic challenge over at MDUC! So, thanks Lori for the inspiration! I'm going to try my luck over at MDCU's challenge (a gift for you).
