Paper-Piecing-Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everyone!! I wish everyone a relaxing day filled with family, friends and lots of laughter! We had our big supper last night along with the big Easter Egg Hunt outside with all my nieces and nephews, as well as my kids-it was great and the weather was co-operating for a change too! My stomach still feels full from all the good vittles and candy!

Now onto the challenge: Over at Totally Tilda, this fortnightly's challenge is to use paper-piecing in your creation! Make a Christmas Scene!

Hey gang! It's time for another challenge over at DCD's Christmas Club. Good Morning all! It's time for another challenge at Do it with Digis! We are so kindly sponsored by Heather Ellis this challenge, whom also provided us with these wonderful digis! I have a whole collection of these Pure Innocence images, as well as the stamps- I just love her to bits!

I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas!

Hiya! It's the week-end-Woohoo! I have to get busy and getting ready for Valentine's Day and my son's 11th B-Day on the same day! Easter Tilda Challenge at Totally Tilda!

Hi gang! Yup, you heard right-Totally Tilda is having another challenge starting today and ending Feb.21rst and the theme is Tilda with at least one or more Easter eggs! My little purple oval beads in the pins have an egg shape, but don't really show up in the picture. The current challenge (For the one I love) is still running and ends on Feb.11th. Pink and Girly, Oopsie-Mine's Purple!

Hey gang! I have a funny story-maybe some of you bloggers can relate. My good friend Lori and I are teammates for Do It with Digis and when I saw she had used the same image I had chosen (which we do all the time!!) I told myself that my dress would have to be purple. It's only after I had cropped and photoshopped my piccies did I realize my huge mistake!! I even altered the color to try and make it look pink, but it looked like I smeared Pepto Bismol all over it! So now, I'm sitting this one out as a DT member, but I am still promoting this fortnightly's challenge, at Do it with Digis, which is PINK and GIRLY! I used this digi image from Prairie Fairy-I totally love her and have had her colored for at least six months! I have tons of colored images, but I just need time!! Christmas Carol Sentiment!

Hey gang! This week's challenge over at DCD's Christmas Club is to use a Christmas Carol Sentiment. Sweetie pie and fellow DT member, Lynne, was so kind to give us some to use. Check out her site at Sentiments 4 You. I love this Tilda so much and wanted her her dress to be a lighter shade of green, but live and learn when you only own 3 dozen copics! I miss my prisma colour pencils and may revert soon! LOL! The silvery pine boughs aren't DPs, they're from an old Christmas card from one my students and I didn't part with the card, knowing I wanted to do something with it! I know-pack-ratting again! For The One You Love!

Hey gang! Happy Sunday! Christmas seems to be creeping up faster and faster! I'm getting excited for school to let out!! This week's challenge over at Totally Tilda is to make a card for the one you love. We all used sentiments from Dt member, Lynne's Digi Shop, Sentiments 4 You. I'm giving this to my parents for all the sacrifices and hard work they've done for me these past few months. It's a small token for what I really owe them! The shaped die- is from dear Susie at Die Cut Dreams and the papers are from Bo Bunny. The snowflake charm is from a candle I burnt last Christmas. My oldest sister calls me a pack-rat for saving doo-dads like this, and she pitched so much of my treasures when I moved into my new house-but a creative mind always sees a use for something right? Hey gang! Happy Saturday! I'm feeling Christmassy already!! I put up my tree and decorated my house-Bring on the snow and Christmas! Well, actually not the snow-that can wait until the 24th of December! LOL. This week's challenge at DCD's Christmas Club is to use Snowflakes in your creation.
