Vintage Wedding!

Hey all! What a blunder this post has been. I've been busy all day and I just had a chance to see what comments I got on this card to see that my card wasn't even posted! Eeek! I searched my scheduled posts to see if there was anything there-nada. I knew I  had scheduled it last week, but then I looked in my drafts and there it was!! I guess it pays to invest in a mouse with a lap-top instead of my not-so-trusty finger!LOL. I love this Magnolia image-it reminds me of a real vintage style wedding. Butterfly Tilda!

Happy Monday to all! Are we all stuffed from all the Easter ham and turkey? even though it was mouth-watering at first-I'm starting to feel sick from the leftovers!! Here's a cutie I wanted to share with you. This is Butterfly Tilda and I tried to make her a red-head for a change.  Thanks Lori for letting me use her-she's beautiful!! I colored her when I had the girls over for a coloring/crafting night, on Good Friday. My papers are from K & Company. I used this super-cute Tilda image from the "You're so Special" Collection-she's my absolute favorite!! I followed Suzanne Dean's tutorial as best as I could to color african-american faces, but I don't have all the copics recommended so I improvised. Easter Tilda Challenge at Totally Tilda!

Hi gang! Yup, you heard right-Totally Tilda is having another challenge starting today and ending Feb.21rst and the theme is Tilda with at least one or more Easter eggs! My little purple oval beads in the pins have an egg shape, but don't really show up in the picture. The current challenge (For the one I love) is still running and ends on Feb.11th. Can't wait to see all the springy and eggy looking creations!! The sentiment on the card is from Sentiments 4 You. Lynne, the owner has some really cute designs to choose from-go check it out! Little Rudy Tilda!

Hey all! Woohoo! I have 350 followers and that means upcoming candy!! I just can't wait any longer to celebrate! Thanks so m uch everyone-I'm not worthy-truly-I just can't seem to comment on evryone's beautiful projects, but I try-honestly! I made this cutie to enter MDUC's challenge this week, which is to use cream, brown and red! the flowers and crystal stem are all Wild Orchid Crafts, except for the poinsettias. The DPs are from my stash. The little pearl dangly is an old earring I had in High-school!! LOL- Are u laughing Lori? She and I have a use for everything! Anyway, I have to go now-we have to get ready for my kids' Christmas carolling evening and open house! Should prove to be entertaining-I don't even know what songs we're singing yet around town-the class acts are excellent with huge bongos/tabanos! Christmas Carol Sentiment!

Hey gang! This week's challenge over at DCD's Christmas Club is to use a Christmas Carol Sentiment. Sweetie pie and fellow DT member, Lynne, was so kind to give us some to use. Check out her site at Sentiments 4 You. I love this Tilda so much and wanted her her dress to be a lighter shade of green, but live and learn when you only own 3 dozen copics! I miss my prisma colour pencils and may revert soon! LOL! The silvery pine boughs aren't DPs, they're from an old Christmas card from one my students and I didn't part with the card, knowing I wanted to do something with it! I know-pack-ratting again! I'm proud to be so eco-friendly and recycle lots of treasures! lmao!! I'm entering Just Magnolia's challenge (Christmas),Alphabet (G-Glitter)and Stampin' with the Dragon (Make it Sparkle). I got this cute Tilda image from my good friend Susie-she's just so cute! I wanted to use the Eerie papers from Basic Grey-but the shop where I stopped this week-end didn't have them! Grumble, grumble! So these DPs are a mixture of Little yellow bicycle, Karen Foster and my stash. And trying to find black lace was a nitemare-so I cut an old camisole that I haven't worn in ages!LOL!! Good morning all! It feels like eons since I posted a card-but life and Summer has taken over these past few days!! I'm so excited to announce that I'm going to be a guest designer every Wednesday this month over at Creative Inspirations challenge site. I'm so happy to get to work with such a talented group of ladies! This week's card is a recipe to follow-and we all know how much I love those!! It calls for 3 papers, 5 flowers and 1 ribbon. I tried to keep it as simple as possible. Hey gang! So happy-again! I just won by random.org for my Aloha Kitty card over at the Kaboodledoodles challenge! I can't find a blinkie though! Well, I can't begin to express how much gratitude I owe to my good friend Susie over at DCD's Xmas challenge, Totally Tilda's and DCD's Challenge blog. I'm guest designing this week over at DCD's and the challenge is a Tilda card in blue! I'm sooo excited to see all the entries!! I hope you enjoy this card, because I just loved the Princess and the Frog movie and this image and DP screamed "Use me! Use me!" LOL!! So here you go! Gardening Tilda!

Hey all! I think I'm in love with all Tilda stamps now. (Well, most of them anyway!) I just couldn't wait to make this card yesterday! Question-Does anyone in Canada have their Bon Voyage Magnolia Magazine yet? I'm keeping an eye at Chapter's (Book Store) to see when or if they come in. That's where I got the Mid-Summer Night's Dream issue. The DPs are from Basic Grey and I thought they had a real gardeny-feel. I'm entering it in the Just Magnolia Challenge (garden theme), Magnolia Down Under (Embossing) and in The Pixie Cottage Challenge (Sketch#24). Have a great Day Evveryone!

Purple,Polka-dot Tilda!

Good morning all! Well, I had an early morning-I was up at 4:47a.m. exactly and I had been tossing and turning before that! Lori-you're rubbing off on me. So, I too made a card, but now this one. I did this one last night and I really like the colors-reminds me of the interior of my house-greens upstairs and mauvy downstairs-trust me my house does not look scary! Anyway, I'd better enter the Magnolia Down Under Challenge (Polka-dots), and Just Magnolia (lace border) and Stampavie (Dots)I used the doilie, but used their gathering technique for the ribbon-before it's too late. P.S. Can anyone help me-I lost the "About Me" gadget on my site and I can't find it in my lay-out. What can I do? Even PF is stumped-Thanks for your help yesterday!! Have a great Day! Trish
