Make Your Own DPs and Sketch

Hey all! Is it almost Friday yet? LOL-This week has seemed so long!! It was 1 C on Monday and it was -9C on Wed., but it felt much colder because of the wind!! It's a  little bit warmer today, but when will Spring be here???
To perk up my mood  I used this cute image of Tilda-so Spring-like with her rabbit in front of her!! I decided to enter Magnolia Down Under's Challenge and I made my own papers for this card-which was hard-because anyone who knows me, knows that I am the queen on Design Papers-love 'em, can't live without them.

So, I am going to show you what I did. For the background paper first paper, I used ink and sponged/rubbed  it on in a swirl motion and then stamped flowers on the paper. For the next paper-I stitched diagonally using different colors of thread and different stitching. It actually looks pretty cool.

I also followed Just Magnolia's Sketch and am entering this week's challenge if I'm not too late!!  I'm also entering the following challenges: Creative Inspirations (Easter), Creative Belli (Eggs/Bunnies),Stamping Royalty (Spring), For Fun Challenges (Use at least 3 of the colors:Blue, Pink Yellow, Green) and Freshly Brewed (Cute and Sweet)Hope u all like!xox Trish

Hiya! Well, this is my last creation as a GDT for Creative Inspirations Challenge. Thanks again for the opportunity ladies! This week's challenge is make a bookmark and I just had to use these cute Tilda images. I used my MS punch at the bottom to soften the look, as the DCWV paper is quite dark, but I love using it! I'm entering One Stop Craft's Challenge (Not a card),Stamptacular Sunday (More than one stamped image) and I Did it Creations (Anything but a card)Hope u like!xoxo Trisha

Mermaid Mania! 3rd GDT Card for Creative Inspirations!

Hey gang! This is my third creation over at Creative Inspirations challenge site. This week, there is a sketch to follow. I made this card for my niece, who celebrated her B-day last week! (She, like the mermaid image, also has big blue eyes and Malibu Barbie Blond hair!!) She had a purplicious mermaid theme, but my Mom ended up without a card, so she gave this one to her. This super-cute image is from a new digi stamp site called: Some Odd Girl. (Thanks Corry for showcasing a card with these images!) The sentiment ticket is from Whimsy Stamps. The DPs are from Basic Grey and K & Company. I used my MS fern punch to make seaweed again!! I'm entering the following challenges: Craftilicious Challenges (Pearls and Swirls), Pollycraft (Stitches), The Pink Elephant (Ribbons/sparkles), Secret Crafter (little girls), Basic Grey (One Basic Grey item and pearls and One Stitch at a Time (Punches)Hope u enjoy!

GDT Card for Creative Inspirations!

Good morning all! It feels like eons since I posted a card-but life and Summer has taken over these past few days!! I'm so excited to announce that I'm going to be a guest designer every Wednesday this month over at Creative Inspirations challenge site. I'm so happy to get to work with such a talented group of ladies! This week's card is a recipe to follow-and we all know how much I love those!! It calls for 3 papers, 5 flowers and 1 ribbon. I tried to keep it as simple as possible. This cute image is Cinderella Tilda from Magnolia stamps!I'm entering it in Just Magnolia's challenge (Sketch) and Magnolia Down Under (Birthday) and Incy Wincy's Challenge (Summer). I made this card last night because I was so discouraged because of all the rain and awful weather in general, and just as I was finishing it, wouldn't you know, the sun started peeking out!! Let's hope it lasts for a bit. I am entering it at Cupcake challenge(#93-Summer Delights) and Creative Inspirations (stitching #35).I was in Birds Hill yesterday and Hwy#59 had water to the brim of the ditches!!
