Make Your Own DPs and Sketch

Hey all! Is it almost Friday yet? LOL-This week has seemed so long!! It was 1 C on Monday and it was -9C on Wed., but it felt much colder because of the wind!! It's a  little bit warmer today, but when will Spring be here???
To perk up my mood  I used this cute image of Tilda-so Spring-like with her rabbit in front of her!! I decided to enter Magnolia Down Under's Challenge and I made my own papers for this card-which was hard-because anyone who knows me, knows that I am the queen on Design Papers-love 'em, can't live without them.

So, I am going to show you what I did. For the background paper first paper, I used ink and sponged/rubbed  it on in a swirl motion and then stamped flowers on the paper. For the next paper-I stitched diagonally using different colors of thread and different stitching. It actually looks pretty cool.

I also followed Just Magnolia's Sketch and am entering this week's challenge if I'm not too late!!  I'm also entering the following challenges: Creative Inspirations (Easter), Creative Belli (Eggs/Bunnies),Stamping Royalty (Spring), For Fun Challenges (Use at least 3 of the colors:Blue, Pink Yellow, Green) and Freshly Brewed (Cute and Sweet)Hope u all like!xox Trish

Gingerbread Heaven!

Hey all! I don't know if you're like me, but I have an obsession with gingerbread-I have knick-knacks, games, lotions, soap, candles, books, a thematic unit that I planned for my class and now: super-cute digi images from Pink Cat Studio! There's even a freebie if you order today!Yay! I had fun making these guys, but I didn't want to add too much froo-froo, as it takes away from the cuteness of the images. I used liquid glass on their hands and stickles on their buttons, but you can't tell! Wah! I wanted you all to see this adorable Christmas gingerbread ribbon from Michaels. I fell in love with it and had to have it!! The candy stickers are from Martha Stewart-my holiday hero!! Hope u like! I'm entering the following challenges: ABC-Challenge (H-Holidays), Stampin Royalty (Use Patterned Papers), and Kaboodle Doodles (1solid paper, 2 DPs and 3 embellies.) One my top card everything follows and my embellies are ribbon, candy stickers and gems. Hope u like! xox Trish
