Kraftstock Tilda!

Hey gang-I wanted to post this last night and my lap-top wasn't working, couldn't figure it out-it was plugged in, I had an internet signal-nothing-Finally I noticed that my cord was disconnected where that heavy boxy thing is half-way down the cord!!! Duuuuh! So now I can finally post. This cutie is Tilda with Daffodil from the Butterfly Dreams Collection.  The flowers and daisy chain lace are from WOC and the daffodils are from blog candy I won a few weeks ago. Thanks again Dawn! I colored her with Copics and used Kraftstock to follow Magnolia Down Under's Challenge theme this week. I even quilled the karftstock and tucked it between the flowers for a different effect. I like it!! I'm also entering the following challenges: Cupcake Craft (Gingham and Roses), Magnolia-licious Highlites (Sketch), Everybody-Art-Challenge (Flowers), Tip-Top Tuesday (Flower Frenzy), Crazy Challenge #66 (Anything Goes) and Incy Wincy Designs (Mother's Day/Girlie). Snow Bunny Thank You!

Hey all! OMG-I posted a card and it hasn't been 3 or 4 days and it's not a DT card!! I know-I can hardly believe it either. I had lots of time in the evenings last week, so I got to squeeze another card in. I made this for a friend, whom so kindly lent me her cross-country skis a few times in January and when I saw this digi image at All that Scraps, I knew it would be a perfect for a thank you card! A Recipe to Follow!

Hey gang! Happy Saturday! For this week's challenge over at DCD's Christmas Challenge, there's a recipe to follow! My boss Susie and my DT colleagues all know how much I love to make recipe cards-NOT! LOL. So, here's the recipe: 1 colored image, 3 papers and two embellies. Flying Tilda!

I got this cute Tilda image from my good friend Susie-she's just so cute! I wanted to use the Eerie papers from Basic Grey-but the shop where I stopped this week-end didn't have them! Grumble, grumble! So these DPs are a mixture of Little yellow bicycle, Karen Foster and my stash. And trying to find black lace was a nitemare-so I cut an old camisole that I haven't worn in ages!LOL!! Pinkalicious Gillian!

Hello everyone! I can't wait for tomorrow's debut of the new Totally Tilda Challenge blogspot. I wish i could give you a hint of tomorrow's challenge-you'll have to check out the site as well as the DT's, as all their creations are spectacular!!! Click here to go directly to the site! In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy this card!!First, came Lewis, and now his girl friend, Gillian at the Beach!! This image is also Gillian at her finest from Prairie Fairy.She is just so darn cute!!! She reminded me so much of the character "Fancy Nancy" from the popular book series from Jane O'Connar-my daughter thought so too, minus the glasses! I'm entering her in Pollycraft's challenge (Pinkalicous), Sew Many Challenges (Anything goes), Cupcake challenge (Sketch). The glittery silver beads come from the Aviation Museum in Winnipeg, when my class and I were on a field trip. A student found this strand of beads in the play cock-pit area, and gave it to me. It didn't belong to anybody from our school, so Prairie Fairy (who also was on the field trip), and I said at the same time "Use it for a Card!!" LOL. Hey all! So happy right now for many, many reasons!! Yay me- just checked Bizzy Becs creatilicious challenge-Guess who won-Yours truly! All those pictures for that post paid off! LOL. And- I met my goal of 100 followers yesterday! So that means I'm going to add an extra surprise to the candy! You'll all love it-trust me!! So, this card is for my Dad's B-day on the 19th, because he's the one who gave me the song title"Strawberry Fields Forever" from the Beatles. That's this week's challenge over at Pollycraft, (Sing-song)The Strawberry/Chocolate theme is for DCD's challenge this week. There's hand-drawn stitching for The Sweet Stampin Challenge( Doodlin')!, And in Cupcake's challenge(For men). The image is a digi from Pollycraft. His name is Cuthbert!
