Thanks Coach!!

Hey all! Just wanted to share this card that I made last month at my son's request. He saw this adorable image from Pollycraft  from the Swings and Slides collection and insisted I buy it and make a card for his soccer coach. He told me "Coach won't like girlie stuff, so make it manly!!" I just about burst my sides from laughing so hard!!

I'm only going to give it at the end of soccer season, as they're only having their first game tonight after the summer vacation break. BTW, I think this image totally looks like my son-shaggy hair right now and big brown eyes!! Hope u like! Enjoy your day! xox Trish :)

Hey all! I just fell in love with this image when I saw it at Pollycraft's digi site. I posted a card in February with these same ducks and I had to have these little guys too! My papers are from Cosmo Cricket and another collection called Grandma's Kitchen, but I don't remember the paper company. Whimsy Fairy!

Hey all! Here's a card made with one of the digi images I won from Whimsy. I fell in love with my teammate Lori's Firefly Fairy card and when I saw this image-had to have it too! I'm not happy with the shadow on the fairy's face due to that purple flower-I photoshopped it as much as I know how, but it still looks dark1 I'm entering her in Flutterby Wednesdays (favorite color and image with wings), which really all these colors, but must choose the yellow, and in Pollycraft's challenge (color inspiration!) and Lexi's Creations (Orange and yellow). Kiki and Cuthbert-A Wedding Card!

Hey all! OMG! My internet was giving me major grief this afternoon, so that's why my post is sooo very late. I got asked by a friend to make a wedding card for this week-end. The wedding colors are brown and turquoise. So, I used this cute freebie from Pollycraft of Kiki and Cuthbert and I'm entering in in this week's challenge at Pollycraft(Love and Marriage), and the Beary Sweet challenge (sketch), and the Just Cute Bears challenge (clean and simple) for me it's the color palette (whites). Aloha Hula Kitty!

Hi gang! As you all may have guessed, my favorite stamps are Prairie Fairy, Magnolias and Pink Cat Studio's. A few months back, I made a Hula Lily card, but Pink Cat Studio has a line of hula digi dancers that I think are sooo cute. However, I wasn't going to make any cards today-I've been crafting like a mad-woman to get ahead in my DT responsibilities, but when I saw these stickers at the local dollar store-I knew that I was going to make it!! So, I'm entering Kaboodle Doodles challenge (Luau theme), Pile it on (Use banners) and Pollycraft(Birthday). I hope u like-Tomorrow-I'm going to post another cutie-stay tuned!!

Hoppy Birthday! A Recipe to Follow!

Happy Monday everyone! I've never posted this late before, but my much neglected house this past weekneeded a good scrubbing and I had tons of wet bathing suits and towels to wash and hang on the line, after a week-end at the beach! I was sooo happy today to see that I made the top 5 at Magnolia Down Under, got some new nesties and two new Tilda stamps in the mail and a Blue Cross refund cheque to boot! What a great start to the week! So, I finally had time to craft this afternoon with one child away at a B-day party! And what do I make-Another B-day card!!LOL. There's tons this month for little school friends!!The image is Billy, from Pink Cat Studio. I had to follow a recipe for this card, as is the Challenge this week at Cards for Men, ( Two Papers, One image and three embellishments-mine are, ribbon, buttons, faux-stitching!!) This was soooo hard to follow! I guess I am really big into glitter, gemmies, ribbons, and DPs, cuz this was so hard and I'm not too happy with it-It looks plain!! I'm also going to enter it at Pollycraft's Challenge this week(Birthday!) and the Crazy Challenge (boys will be boys0Enjoy your week y'all! xoxo Trisha

Strawberry Lily!

Hey all! Hope u enjoyed the week-end! I'm so happy right now-I made the top 5 again for Cupcake challenge for my soccer cards last week! What a crazy week up ahead: catching up with card making, right Nicola?; swimming lessons, our community and school is building a brand new play structure this Thurs., then our annual Festival Châteauguay is this week-end!. 3-D Strawberry Shortcake card!

Hey gang! For the past few days, I've been feeling like "Where's my Mojo?" My cards all seem blahhh, and the same to me-maybe I'm adding too much to them or fussing too much, so this card is kind of a fresh change-no flowers involved. This cute image is a free coloring page on the web. I loved S.S. as a child and she mad a huge comback when my daughter was born in 2002. I painted flowers and made curtains to match a Strawberry/gerber daisy theme in her room. But alas, she's moved on to Bratz, Liv Dolls and her beloved DS! But Mommy still has a bond with Strawberry Shortcake and always will! LOL.I took one of her charms off an old bracelet that she never touches. Of course, I will give it back if she asks...maybe!! Pinkalicious Gillian!

Hello everyone! I can't wait for tomorrow's debut of the new Totally Tilda Challenge blogspot. I wish i could give you a hint of tomorrow's challenge-you'll have to check out the site as well as the DT's, as all their creations are spectacular!!! Click here to go directly to the site! In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy this card!!First, came Lewis, and now his girl friend, Gillian at the Beach!! This image is also Gillian at her finest from Prairie Fairy.She is just so darn cute!!! She reminded me so much of the character "Fancy Nancy" from the popular book series from Jane O'Connar-my daughter thought so too, minus the glasses! I'm entering her in Pollycraft's challenge (Pinkalicous), Sew Many Challenges (Anything goes), Cupcake challenge (Sketch). The glittery silver beads come from the Aviation Museum in Winnipeg, when my class and I were on a field trip. A student found this strand of beads in the play cock-pit area, and gave it to me. It didn't belong to anybody from our school, so Prairie Fairy (who also was on the field trip), and I said at the same time "Use it for a Card!!" LOL. Hey all! So happy right now for many, many reasons!! Yay me- just checked Bizzy Becs creatilicious challenge-Guess who won-Yours truly! All those pictures for that post paid off! LOL. And- I met my goal of 100 followers yesterday! So that means I'm going to add an extra surprise to the candy! You'll all love it-trust me!! So, this card is for my Dad's B-day on the 19th, because he's the one who gave me the song title"Strawberry Fields Forever" from the Beatles. That's this week's challenge over at Pollycraft, (Sing-song)The Strawberry/Chocolate theme is for DCD's challenge this week. There's hand-drawn stitching for The Sweet Stampin Challenge( Doodlin')!, And in Cupcake's challenge(For men). The image is a digi from Pollycraft. His name is Cuthbert! He's a cute bear-but I'm so glad we didn't use that name for my son! It was on my "Boy name" list!! Sorry if I offended anyone! My-bad!
