Bicycle Mimi!

Hey gang!  We've been enjoying nice weather here for the past few days-haven't had to wear a jacket- I raked my front yard  and half of the back last night and can hardly move my arms today. Good thing I finished this card on Mon. night LOL! This super cute image is from Penny Black and her name is Mimi with bicycle or bicycle Mimi-I can't remember, but she's adorable and I think she fits perfectly with these Bo Bunny Vicki B papers! I love the colors in this collection!

So, I've been watching crocheting tutorials on You tube, as I've used my last crocheted flower on this card. To be honest, I think I can do it, but I'm scared to attempt it-anyone know where to buy little ones like this one and not on e-bay, 'cause they look huge there, as well as expensive.

I'm entering the following challenges with my card: Tuesday Throwdown (Use Eyelets or Brads), Anything Goes Challenge (pink and brown), Stamping Scrapping Central (Anything Goes), I Did It Creations! (1 image, 2 DPs and 3 embellies) I used ribbon, brads and flowers;  Hope u like! xox Trish:)

Chook,Chook- Nursery Rhyme Theme

Before I forget: Congrats to my good friend and fellow Fairy member, Corry, who just won at Just Magnolia! Way to go girl!! Have fun spending at Simon Says!! So proud of you!! xox

Hey all this fortnightly's challenge over at Fairy Fun Fridays is to get your card inspiration from a Nursery Rhyme. I used this new and super cute image of Gilly, from Prairie Fairy called "Little Chicks" and my Nursey rhyme is Chook, Chook. Here's how it goes, as I didn't learn this one until I was in school:

Chook, Chook

Chook, chook, chook, chook, chook,
Good morning, Mrs. Hen.
How many chicks have you got?
Madam, I've got ten.
Four of them are yellow,
And four of them are brown
And two of them are speckled red,
The nicest in the town.

I'm entering the following chalenges: Tuesday Throwdown (Spring), Crafty Cardmakers (Yellow as main colour), Dutch Dare Card Challenge (Spring has Sprung), The Rubber Cafe (Spring/Easter), Freshly Brewed (Flowers),Raise the Bar (Cute Little Chicks), Paper Cutz Challenge (Chicks, Bunnies or Eggs) Crafts for Eternity (Colour/Picture Inspired)and Simon Says Stamp (Spring/Easter Colors).  My sentiment is from Paper Trey Ink. Hope u like! xox Trish

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Tilda!

Hi gang! Do you like my new blog lay-out? I absolutely love it-it fits me to a tee! Prairie Fairy made it for me, as she also does blog deisning too! So to celebrate, I made a Tilda creation- actually had time tonight! Very rare lately! I'm entering Magnolia Down Under's Challenge (3 R's). I recycled the corrugated cardboard from plate inserts/protectors I bought in the city the other day, the ribbon is from a gift box from the Body Shop, the leaves are from my wedding bouquet that I finally took apart this year, when I was moving, the buttons are all oldies that my grandma passed down to me and lastly that kraft paper oval is from the back of a Jolee's sticker package you get at Micahels! I think I did good with the 3 R's!! I'm also entering Paper Pretties (sewing),Magnolia Stamp Lovers (being sentimental), and Tuesday Throwdown (distressing). Hope u like! xox Trisha
