Pinkalicious Gillian!

Hello everyone! I can't wait for tomorrow's debut of the new Totally Tilda Challenge blogspot. I wish i could give you a hint of tomorrow's challenge-you'll have to check out the site as well as the DT's, as all their creations are spectacular!!! Click here to go directly to the site! In the meantime, I hope you all enjoy this card!!First, came Lewis, and now his girl friend, Gillian at the Beach!! This image is also Gillian at her finest from Prairie Fairy.She is just so darn cute!!! She reminded me so much of the character "Fancy Nancy" from the popular book series from Jane O'Connar-my daughter thought so too, minus the glasses! I'm entering her in Pollycraft's challenge (Pinkalicous), Sew Many Challenges (Anything goes), Cupcake challenge (Sketch). The glittery silver beads come from the Aviation Museum in Winnipeg, when my class and I were on a field trip. A student found this strand of beads in the play cock-pit area, and gave it to me. It didn't belong to anybody from our school, so Prairie Fairy (who also was on the field trip), and I said at the same time "Use it for a Card!!" LOL. Waiting for twins!!

Hey all! I'm still experiencing tons of difficulty with getting to my dashboard, but somehow I was able to get to my blog site. It's very freaky. My friend and colleague, Annie is expecting twins any day now, so I made this card for her last night. She's expecting a boy and a girl and she is in good spirits and looks great! Gardening Tilda!

Hey all! I think I'm in love with all Tilda stamps now. (Well, most of them anyway!) I just couldn't wait to make this card yesterday! Question-Does anyone in Canada have their Bon Voyage Magnolia Magazine yet? I'm keeping an eye at Chapter's (Book Store) to see when or if they come in. That's where I got the Mid-Summer Night's Dream issue. The DPs are from Basic Grey and I thought they had a real gardeny-feel. I'm entering it in the Just Magnolia Challenge (garden theme), Magnolia Down Under (Embossing) and in The Pixie Cottage Challenge (Sketch#24). Have a great Day Evveryone!

Good morning! Well, how many mosquito bites does everyone have who lives in Manitoba or Canada? It is so wet and humid here, my kids are covered in sandfly bites behind the ears and my daughter rips mosquito bites off literally, she scratches so much!! Welcome Summer!! LOL. On a brighter note, I made this card last night, and it was quite challenging, because I had to follow a recipe- use Kraft card stock, the color green(leaves), one DP, one embellishment(Flowers) and the use of a ribbon(green) or not. I'm so used to using like 3 DPs, adding jewels or pearls, faux or real stitching. So my card kind of looks plain-Jane, but I wanted to use my new pack of papers from October Afternoon (Go Fly a Kite series). The image is named Ebony from the Greeting Farm. I just love those Anya stamps too. I'm entering this card in the Club Anya Challenge(Monday Mania) this week and in the Keep it simple theme at The Sweet Stampin challenge. Have a great day!! xoxo

Hiya! I'm so excited! My dear friend and boss Susie over at DCD Christmas challenge asked us DTgirls if we would like to be her GDT members this week at her other challenge blog site DCD. Of course, I said YES! So, we all used the same Prairie Fairy image called Lewis. White Christmas!

Hey all! This is my card for this week's challenge over at DCD's Christmas challenge. The theme is, as you can tell "All White Christmas"! When I finished this card, my daughter told me it was the most beautiful wedding card I had ever made!!! Not, the look I was going for-so I added some greenery from my trusted Martha Stewart punch. It was fun embossing the dove-a Hero Arts stamp that I haven't used in eons!!! Hey all! So happy right now for many, many reasons!! Yay me- just checked Bizzy Becs creatilicious challenge-Guess who won-Yours truly! All those pictures for that post paid off! LOL. And- I met my goal of 100 followers yesterday! So that means I'm going to add an extra surprise to the candy! You'll all love it-trust me!! So, this card is for my Dad's B-day on the 19th, because he's the one who gave me the song title"Strawberry Fields Forever" from the Beatles. Purple,Polka-dot Tilda!

Good morning all! Well, I had an early morning-I was up at 4:47a.m. exactly and I had been tossing and turning before that! Lori-you're rubbing off on me. So, I too made a card, but now this one. I did this one last night and I really like the colors-reminds me of the interior of my house-greens upstairs and mauvy downstairs-trust me my house does not look scary! Anyway, I'd better enter the Magnolia Down Under Challenge (Polka-dots), and Just Magnolia (lace border) and Stampavie (Dots)I used the doilie, but used their gathering technique for the ribbon-before it's too late. So, does anybody want to hear about my trials and tribulations in the city yesterday? Well, actually only one LAMO thing happened to me in the Costco parking lot. I was unpacking my groceries and was loading a can of coffee that my MOM had requested. It somehow slipped and ended falling on my big toe below the nail. Well, I just about passed out-I got that warm hot fuzzy feeling and I put my head down right away and learned up against the side of my car. I felt like puking it hurt so much. Anyway, a guy taps me on the shoulder and says, "Excuse me, is this your coffee? Are you okay?" It had rolled across the parking lot!!LOL. So I bolted upright, and said "Uh, yah, thanks, I'm kind of having some bad luck-it fell on my toe-Thanks" And, I turned away and tried to unlock the driver's side of my car, lifted the handle-nothing! I press on my keyless entry again, lift the handle-nothing! Now, I'm starting to freak!! So, this guy was still around I guess and he says "M'am, isn't that your car?" He points to the car to my left, with the hatch open, full of groceries!!! I was trying to get into a silver Toyota Matrix!!! Lamo-My car is a Siver Equinox-same build, color. Now that is one my biggest LAMO moves in a while. When my embarassment finally passed, I had a good laugh-when I was in Scanterbury!!! Have a great day!! XXX Trish

Hello y'all! My card for this week is going into Cute Card Thursday's challenge (blue, orange and black!) The Sketch is from Friday Sketchers and the image is digital so I'm also entering it in the Stamp something challenge! Well, I'm now to the city again (I used my final personal day-if you don't use them, u lose them-no carry overs) and I'm getting the gray hair peeking everywhere dyed and cut!! Usually, when my sis sees one she just yanks it out! Harsh, I know!! That's probably why they're everywhere now!! Anyway I hope u enjoy this card-cuz I was skeptical using the colors! Hey all! Well, I was in the city for the past 2 days-one for a great field trip and yesterday, for a sort a divisional track and field soccer day. Think disorganisation and hundreds of screaming grade 4, 5 and 6 students! I certainly enjoyed a glass of Pinot Grigio after we came back!! LOL. This is a bag I decorated with Prairie Fairie's digital images and it is this week's challenge at Fairy Fun Fridays. I still am not toally pleased with the results,but my daughter told me that the pink digital camera that I buy her would fit perfectly in there!! Her B-Day is only in November! Enjoy your week-end!
