Recycled Prima Tin!

Hey all! Just wanted to show off this recycled tin that I made hastily for my daughter's friend's party yesterday! I didn't have time to get a gift, so I made this little tin and put money inside it! Thanks Lori for the inspiration- but this tin pales in comparison, I couldn't add lace or extras because my glue gun hadn't any glue sticks!! I like the metal look somewhat! When it came time to shut the tin, the punched edge wouldn't let me close the tin! So, I bent the edges, and lace effect looked alright after all! I' entering I Did It Creations (Surprise Me), Let's Ink It Up! (No digis and recycle it!) and Craft Your Days Away (Texture) Hope you like! xox Trisha

Hiya! This week's theme at Totally Tilda's is Glitz and Gold-I can't wait to see the entries! There's blue in this card-but I just couldn't make Tilda's sari gold! Plus, I made this card (actually two of them), to send to a friend in the city, whom is originally from New Dehli, India. The first time I met her, she was wearing a beautiful sari with these two colors that she had embroidered herself. The image was given to me by fellow DT member-Corry-thanks doll! There's even a freebie if you order today!Yay! I had fun making these guys, but I didn't want to add too much froo-froo, as it takes away from the cuteness of the images. Hello Kitty Kat!

Hiya-I was inspired to make a non-Christmas card last night after I finished all my DT creations for this week! It felt good to use my WOC flowers for a change and not use my Christmas papers, snowflakes and so much glitter! My niece requested a B-day card for her friend whom loves cats-so here it is! The image is a freebie from Meljen stamps, and the Papers are from K&Company (Earth Elements). I'm entering the Alphabet challenge (C-Cats) and Crafty Emma.

Happy Birthday Nennie!

Sorry, no new PCS releases today, stay tuned next week for some super cute images! It was my baby, Kennedy's 8th birthday on the 10th and today we had a birthday party for her. She was pretty excited because she got the new Mattel Monster High Dolls, that are not available yet in Canada. Thank you Ebay! I even had a friend in Fargo last week who didn't even find them in Target or Wal-mart Stores. This image is from Mattel, but I added glitter to their apparel and shaded around with ink. And yay! I finally have the butterfly punch that I should have bought in August at Michaels, but decided to get my web punch instead. Big mistake- I've never seen it since there!! So my good friend bought one for me when she was in the States! I'm entering Freshly Brewed's challenge (2 or more DPs), Sassy Studio Designs (Anything Goes), Cute Card Thursday(Anything Goes) and Ai Factory (die-cuts or punches). Hope u like! xox Trish

Blue and Silver- Icy Tilda!

Hi gang! Brrr-it's cold out there-winter has started here!! This week's challenge over at Totally Tilda's challenge site is blue and silver! I made this cutie using my lovely boss's die cuts available at her site, Die Cut Dreams. These shaped cards add a decorative flare anywhere you put them-loved making this. I had to cut the DP (available at Michaels) to fit inside the book. The cherubs are little gold resin decorations left over from my wedding (almost 14yrs ago) that I spray-painted silver. I did that also to all the blue flowers!LOL The violin was a gold mini tree decoration that I also spray painted. The sentiment is from my fellow DT member at DCD Christmas Club-thanks Evgenia! I was telling my fellow DT members that after I took the piccies, I smudged Tilda's eye and wrecked her face! I had darkened them with a sharpie pen, but it hadn't dried! Poor Tilda looked like she had a shiner! I told them-change my card to "Black and Blue Tilda!". I was so upset, but I did manage to repair her! It's amazing how attached I get to my little creations! I'm entering Magnolia Down Under's Challenge (make your own embellishments). Mine were not the right color, so technically I made them into something I could use to embellish my card, right? I'm also entering Alice in Wonderland (use tickets), Elephantastic (Blue) and Aly's Sunday Challenge (All about music).Hope u like! xoxo Trish

I'm entering the following challenges: ABC Christmas (W-White/winter wonderland), Simon Says Stamp (Almost all White), and Creative Cottage's (Embossing). Hope u like! Enjoy your week-end! xox Trish
