Make Your Own DPs and Sketch

Hey all! Is it almost Friday yet? LOL-This week has seemed so long!! It was 1 C on Monday and it was -9C on Wed., but it felt much colder because of the wind!! It's a  little bit warmer today, but when will Spring be here???
To perk up my mood  I used this cute image of Tilda-so Spring-like with her rabbit in front of her!! I decided to enter Magnolia Down Under's Challenge and I made my own papers for this card-which was hard-because anyone who knows me, knows that I am the queen on Design Papers-love 'em, can't live without them.

So, I am going to show you what I did. For the background paper first paper, I used ink and sponged/rubbed  it on in a swirl motion and then stamped flowers on the paper. For the next paper-I stitched diagonally using different colors of thread and different stitching. It actually looks pretty cool.

I also followed Just Magnolia's Sketch and am entering this week's challenge if I'm not too late!!  I'm also entering the following challenges: Creative Inspirations (Easter), Creative Belli (Eggs/Bunnies),Stamping Royalty (Spring), For Fun Challenges (Use at least 3 of the colors:Blue, Pink Yellow, Green) and Freshly Brewed (Cute and Sweet)Hope u all like!xox Trish

Pink and Girly, Oopsie-Mine's Purple!

Hey gang! I have a funny story-maybe some of you bloggers can relate. My good friend Lori and I are teammates for Do It with Digis and when I saw she had used the same image I had chosen (which we do all the time!!) I told myself that my dress would have to be purple. It's only after I had cropped and photoshopped my piccies did I realize my huge mistake!! I even altered the color to try and make it look pink, but it looked like I smeared Pepto Bismol all over it! So now, I'm sitting this one out as a DT member, but I am still promoting this fortnightly's challenge, at Do it with Digis, which is PINK and GIRLY! We were so kindly sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads and she supplied us with these cute girly images. She is also giving the winner 5 digis of their choice. Glitz and Gold Tilda!

Hiya! This week's theme at Totally Tilda's is Glitz and Gold-I can't wait to see the entries! There's blue in this card-but I just couldn't make Tilda's sari gold! Plus, I made this card (actually two of them), to send to a friend in the city, whom is originally from New Dehli, India. The first time I met her, she was wearing a beautiful sari with these two colors that she had embroidered herself. The image was given to me by fellow DT member-Corry-thanks doll! I'm entering Tip-Top Tuesday challenge ,(Buttons Galore) and Creative Belli (old,new,borrowed,blue) My button's quite old, new are my papers, Tilda image is technically borrowed-I don't own this stamp, blue-my flowers.
