Christmas in May!

Hey gang!  Yes, two posts on the same day!! I didn't think I would be making a Christmas creation for a while, but I'm starting to miss it already!! So, I challenged myself to make this ornament out of a used CD. I got the inspiration from Corry and Lori! My papers are from Cosmo Cricket-Mitten Weather collection, flowers (WOC, snowflakes from dear friend Lori and I used stickles on Tilda`s dress and around the CD. I'm entering the following challenges with her: Magnolia Down Under Challenges (Christmas in May), A spoonful of Sugar (Anything with Wings), Anita Be Stampin' (Pearls and Lace), House of Gilli (Flowers), Freshly Brewed (Anything but a card!), My Mum's Craft Shop (Favorite color-mine is turquoise/aqua lately) and The Paper Shelter Challenge (Anything Goes). Make Your Own DPs and Sketch

Hey all! Is it almost Friday yet? LOL-This week has seemed so long!! It was 1 C on Monday and it was -9C on Wed., but it felt much colder because of the wind!! It's a  little bit warmer today, but when will Spring be here???
To perk up my mood  I used this cute image of Tilda-so Spring-like with her rabbit in front of her!! I decided to enter Magnolia Down Under's Challenge and I made my own papers for this card-which was hard-because anyone who knows me, knows that I am the queen on Design Papers-love 'em, can't live without them.

So, I am going to show you what I did. For the background paper first paper, I used ink and sponged/rubbed  it on in a swirl motion and then stamped flowers on the paper. For the next paper-I stitched diagonally using different colors of thread and different stitching. It actually looks pretty cool.

I also followed Just Magnolia's Sketch and am entering this week's challenge if I'm not too late!!  I'm also entering the following challenges: Creative Inspirations (Easter), Creative Belli (Eggs/Bunnies),Stamping Royalty (Spring), For Fun Challenges (Use at least 3 of the colors:Blue, Pink Yellow, Green) and Freshly Brewed (Cute and Sweet)Hope u all like!xox Trish

Happy Birthday Nennie!

Sorry, no new PCS releases today, stay tuned next week for some super cute images! It was my baby, Kennedy's 8th birthday on the 10th and today we had a birthday party for her. She was pretty excited because she got the new Mattel Monster High Dolls, that are not available yet in Canada. Thank you Ebay! I even had a friend in Fargo last week who didn't even find them in Target or Wal-mart Stores. This image is from Mattel, but I added glitter to their apparel and shaded around with ink. And yay! I finally have the butterfly punch that I should have bought in August at Michaels, but decided to get my web punch instead. Big mistake- I've never seen it since there!! So my good friend bought one for me when she was in the States! I'm entering Freshly Brewed's challenge (2 or more DPs), Sassy Studio Designs (Anything Goes), Cute Card Thursday(Anything Goes) and Ai Factory (die-cuts or punches). Hope u like! xox Trish

Thankful Tilda!

Happy Friday gang!! I'm sorry for not posting more frequently, but life has just been a whirlwind lately and I haven't had the time to craft! I got this cute Tilda image from my dear friend Susie and absolutely had to use it! Fall in my favorite season-love the colors, the smells, everything!Already had the papers and just started to create last night.
