Splish, Splash Serena!
Hiya! I hope everyone had a great long week-end! I enjoyed it! I have a funny story to share: Saturday, my daughter, niece, my sister and myself went to Nail Country in Selkirk and got pedicures with nail art. I had a guy do my feet and he did a yuck job!(My feet feel rougher than before!!) The girl who did my nail art was good-but they always say "okay" when u tell them something, then they don't do it! Then ,we did the Wal-mart thing and my niece's nail art scraped off in the cart! My sister was sooo mad! Poor Serena! Then, we went to the Scrap Bucket-I have barerly any cardstock left. Well, it was closed!! The hours said "10 till 4p.m.", but there was a clock sign that said "Be Back at 1: 45 p.m." Helloooo!!! I was sooo mad! I hate that when stores do that. It was 1:30p.m., but I had had enough and so had my sister so we left! That lady could have made some money-but u snooze u lose, right? It's funny now that I'm typing this, but at the time!! Let's just say that when I got home I enjoyed a nice big glass of wine (Te he!) Sorry I bored you all! I had time to make cards yesterday, because of all the rain, so being the great sister that I am, I created a card for my sister's daughter's birthday, at her request on my blog!(Her B-day's only in August!!) She loves mermaids and that's her theme apparently this year! (The image is from Pink Cat Studio) It better not change, cuz Auntie's not making another card!(LOL) The starfish ornament is from Mahone Bay,N.S. (My mom lent it to me) I thought it looked nice with the theme and I'm entering it in the Crafty Catz Challenge #33 (Stars and Stripes) contest at, and Sophisticat Challenge (Splish Splash). Have an awesome day y'all!

Miss Mousy Tent Card!
What does T-Bear stand for? I got an e-mail yesterday from a curious follower. Well, it's been my nickname since birth(Trisha-Bear and it just got shortened to T-Bear, cuz I was such a grouchy baby and always stuck out my stomach and had a constant pout (so my parents tell me!!) But, I'm a very lovely, and bubbly person now right? (LOL) Yawn for most of you -so sorry! Now back to business! Okay-so it doesn't look exactly like a tent card! I started cutting in the middle of the card-that i stitched a lot better this time around, might I add and everything kinda just went downhill from there!! So, you all get to laugh at my "pup tent" for Miss Mousy! The image is from Prairie Fairy and it is my GDT spot creation for this week's challenge! Enjoy the long week-end! Let's hope it a nice one!T-Bear.)

Little China Girl!
Hello everyone-I got inspired last night thinking of my late Aunt Grace. She had awesome taste and her house had a lot of exotic decorations from around the world! Anyway, I made this oriental card to remind me of her. Oops-my bad! I forgot to upload the picture with the little parasol-sorry to all if u commented already. She's a two-version card! I'm going to enter it today in the Bizzy Becs Creatilicious Challenge (Oriental-Asian theme). The image is a three pack of sisters from Digi stamp Boutique. I just think they're precious! The oriental tag is something I saved from a shirt at Winners! (LOL) The jade charm is from a friend of ours who brought tons of stuff back from China for my daughter. It's her astrological sign (year of the horse-but it looks more like a dog!!)I hope you like it!

Tilda in blue!
Hi all! I haven't had a lot of time to create this past week-end, my dear Aunt Grace passed away early Monday morning, after battling her second bout of cancer. Rest in peace Auntie! Well, I borrowed my Mémère's sewing machine yesterday to make my first stitched card, and I don't know what what worse-my jamming machine or trying to figure hers out!!! So, I'm not very ecstatic about this card, but I love my Tilda image. Hers colors remind me of Little house on the Prairie! Plus, I'm entering a whole bunch of challenges with this card! Am I nuts or what?I really don't think this card is my best work, but what the heck? Here they are:Die Cut Dreams (lace), Creative Inspirations (punches, dies), Pollycraft (Summer blooms), Crafty Catz (Petals and Pearls), Just Magnolia (One for the girls), Friday Sketchers (Sketch #102) and Cupcake Craft challenge #91(Blooming Charming), Cute Card Thursday (Someone Special) and Stamp Something,(celebrate) and Sophisticat challenge (Blue and Brown). Recycled-Tooth Fairy!
Hey all! It's Prairie Fairy Friday today! Here is my"recycled"creation: A tooth holder for my daughter, who is so desperately awaiting her two front teeth to fall out. They've been wiggly for months, but nothing's budging! She commented that the tooth on my card looked yellow-out of the mouth's of babes! So my recycled items are the CD case, and a little organza bag that I got a silver ring in from the Forks Market. Oh yah, and the to/from tag is from my daughter's project that she made at Roberta's card making workshop, this past Feb. (te he!)I just took the holder apart, added new papers, attached the bag and voilà! TIP: I got this from Papertrey Ink-keep your cling stamps in CD Cases(EZ mount can only go on one side). Neat, huh? Or, am I the only mushroom here? Have a great day!!:)

She looks like Tink!
Hiya! My family's all gone back East and West and family reunion time is all over, so I actually had time to make a card last night!! I think I was going through withdrawal or something! LOL. I loved making this card. I tried to keep it simple, but she looked lost! So I added some flowers and ribbon and she looks better. The colors remind me of Tinkerbell! I'm going to enter it in Sketch and Stash - challenge #34(that's where I got the sketch) Creatilicious Challenge and in Dare u 2 digistamp-week 36 challenge (flowers) I think. I'd better make sure before I post. Have a great day!

GDT-Christmas stocking
I'm sooo honored to be a guest designer for this week's challenge at Susie and Vikki's Christmas challenge-Stockings! I still don't feel worthy compared to all the great entries in their challenge. You will not believe that I was stumped on this one for a while!! First, I didn't have a stamp for this card, next I couldn't visualize a sketch. Usually, I don't even have to think about it. It just comes together as I work. So, I did make the stocking pieces myself, the grommet, laces and all. I got it all together and it still looked, well Blaaah! Then I decided to use my Inkadinkadoo Christmas set for the penguin and Santa and it looked much better. The papers are all from the Polar Expressions line from Imaginisce, as well as the sentiment. The snowflake punch is from my goddess: Martha Stewart. I don't care if I lose followers,um yah I do, -I just love everything she does, except her glitter glue-mine was a dud. Some people think she's a crook, but damn she's good! I'm also going to enter Cute Card Thursday's challenge (Make your own) That Stocking is an original!! I have to go pick up a huge B-day cake now. Enjoy the week-end gals. Happy blog-hopping at Prairie Fairy! T-Bear:)
