A Recipe to Follow!

Can you see her green eyeshadow? hehe

Good morning! Well, how many mosquito bites does everyone have who lives in Manitoba or Canada? It is so wet and humid here, my kids are covered in sandfly bites behind the ears and my daughter rips mosquito bites off literally, she scratches so much!! Welcome Summer!! LOL. On a brighter note, I made this card last night, and it was quite challenging, because I had to follow a recipe- use Kraft card stock, the color green(leaves), one DP, one embellishment(Flowers) and the use of a ribbon(green) or not. I'm so used to using like 3 DPs, adding jewels or pearls, faux or real stitching. So my card kind of looks plain-Jane, but I wanted to use my new pack of papers from October Afternoon (Go Fly a Kite series). The image is named Ebony from the Greeting Farm. I just love those Anya stamps too. I'm entering this card in the Club Anya Challenge(Monday Mania) this week and in the Keep it simple theme at The Sweet Stampin challenge. Have a great day!! xoxo

  3. Her eyeshadow is lovely, great layout and DP's are scrummy. Oh your poor kids, we don't have mossies but we do have midges, and boy do they bite. It's unusually warm here at the moment and they are out hunting us in packs.!! Good luck in the challenge.

But how can you dish our national bird!! Not a welcoming site coming back to Manitoba, I saw one in Alberta.
