Shabby Chic Tilda!

Happy Monday! It's freezing cold here and gloomy! My kids were gone to hockey last night, so I had time to craft. I just love these new Christmas Tildas and knew I had to make something with these new images. Two of the DPs are from Basic Grey's line of Eskimo Kisses. I actually used copics on her face-getting more confident at this task, but I still prefer my prisma pencils. I'm entering Magnolia Down Under's Challenge (shabby chic),Crafty Pad (Christmas Sparkle), I Did It Creations (traditional Christmas Colors), Elephantastic (Christmas or Butterfly)and Crazy 4 Challenges (Christmas). Hope u like! xox Trisha

Xmas colors), Fairy Tale (Anything Goes), Stamp Something (Use something digital) and Delighful challenges (Use Glitter), A SpoonFul of Sugar (snow/snowflakes). Hope u like too! Happy Birthday Nennie!

Sorry, no new PCS releases today, stay tuned next week for some super cute images! It was my baby, Kennedy's 8th birthday on the 10th and today we had a birthday party for her. She was pretty excited because she got the new Mattel Monster High Dolls, that are not available yet in Canada. Thank you Ebay! I even had a friend in Fargo last week who didn't even find them in Target or Wal-mart Stores. This image is from Mattel, but I added glitter to their apparel and shaded around with ink. And yay! I finally have the butterfly punch that I should have bought in August at Michaels, but decided to get my web punch instead. Big mistake- I've never seen it since there!! So my good friend bought one for me when she was in the States! I'm entering Freshly Brewed's challenge (2 or more DPs), Sassy Studio Designs (Anything Goes), Cute Card Thursday(Anything Goes) and Ai Factory (die-cuts or punches). Hope u like! xox Trish

Blue and Silver- Icy Tilda!

Hi gang! Brrr-it's cold out there-winter has started here!! This week's challenge over at Totally Tilda's challenge site is blue and silver! I made this cutie using my lovely boss's die cuts available at her site, Die Cut Dreams. These shaped cards add a decorative flare anywhere you put them-loved making this. I had to cut the DP (available at Michaels) to fit inside the book. The cherubs are little gold resin decorations left over from my wedding (almost 14yrs ago) that I spray-painted silver. I did that also to all the blue flowers!LOL The violin was a gold mini tree decoration that I also spray painted. The sentiment is from my fellow DT member at DCD Christmas Club-thanks Evgenia! I was telling my fellow DT members that after I took the piccies, I smudged Tilda's eye and wrecked her face! I had darkened them with a sharpie pen, but it hadn't dried! Poor Tilda looked like she had a shiner! I told them-change my card to "Black and Blue Tilda!". I was so upset, but I did manage to repair her! It's amazing how attached I get to my little creations! I'm entering Magnolia Down Under's Challenge (make your own embellishments). Mine were not the right color, so technically I made them into something I could use to embellish my card, right? I'm also entering Alice in Wonderland (use tickets), Elephantastic (Blue) and Aly's Sunday Challenge (All about music).Hope u like! xoxo Trish

Hiya! This week's theme over at DCD Christmas Club is to incorporate Christmas Crackers in your creation! I used this James Bear image from Lily of the Valley. I'm entering the following challenges: ABC Christmas (W-White/winter wonderland), Simon Says Stamp (Almost all White), and Creative Cottage's (Embossing). Hope u like! Enjoy your week-end! xox Trish

Hey gang! This week's challenge over at Fairy Fun Fridays is to make your own flowers! I made mine by stitching the ends of ric-rac together and then adding a button in the middle. I did this for my daughter's coat when she was a baby and got the idea from a Martha Stewart Baby magazine. This time it was a lot harder, I guess I just don't have the patience I used to. I've got to hunt for some challenges now, because I just made the DT deadline today! I know-my bad!!Hope u like!Have a great week-end! xox Trisha
