Well, this is my card for the Prairie Fairy Fridays challenge, and also for my Mémère's B-Day. The background paper is from Basic Gray-Kioshi. Can't wait to start prairie blog hopping! Enjoy your day! XOXO

Peace, Joy , Noël!
Good morning! I've got so much to do in the next couple days, that you're not going to hear from me this week-end. I even have my Saturday GDT Card saved as a draft (te he!)It's my grand-mother's (Mémère Vincent) 90th B-Day this Sunday, and I want to create an awesome card for her, but I'm stumped. Any ideas? Also, my two oldest and bestest cousins on my Mom's side are coming out from Halifax and from Hinton,AB, so I'll want to get in a good visit with them. Plus, my sis and her kids and hubby are staying with us all week-end. So, it's major clean-up time. I'm not a slob - but beds need need to be changed, things dusted that get overlooked, etc.. U all know the drill!! This is my entry for this week's challenge at Susie and Vikki's. This stamp is older than my son LOL. Seriously, I bought it in '99 from Hero Arts and have only used it twice. It suits this theme perfectly. P.S. Watch on Saturday for my GDT spot on their site. I'm so excited!! Toodles!!:)
Goin' Green
Bonjour everyone! I was in the city yesterday for a really good French inservice, then got lots of goodies at Michael's (stay tuned... upcoming candy!!!) and then made my way down to St.Vital Centre to meet up with my sister. OMG, it was crazy!!! Bath and Body Works just opened up yesterday and the mall was crawling with people. I walked in to snoop, could barely move, then realized that the people standing outside of the store were waiting in line to pay!! Insane-so I walked out and told my sis about it, who luckily was getting her hair cut. So if u love BBW products like me, wait a while before entering the store. Just thought I'd share that tidbit with you gals. I really enjoyed making this card. Maybe, it's because I have shades of these colors in my house. The cute little boy image is from Digi Stamp Boutique.I'm entering this in Friday Sketchers, Sketch#99. Hope u like it!

Me likey much better. The image is from C.C. Designs-through All that Scraps. I'll talk to you guys on Wednesday. I'm in the city for an inservice all day tomorrow. Ciao!

OMG!!! I won!!
Woohoo! OMG you guys-I cannot believe this!! You are now looking at a winner at Susie and Vicki's week 13 challenge!! I am truly so honored and so happy right now-the fact that my nose is a leaking faucet right now is not deterring from my awesome mood!! Thank you to you gals who've helped me with your encouraging words and for the genuine support(P.F.)! I love it! I was going to wait until Sunday to post this, but I'll do it now. I'm entering Prairie Fairy Fridays challenge - theme: distressing with this card. I'm so hooked on inking everything on the sides. Can't sew with my machine, so I ink!!! Lori and Roberta, you both know that great minds think alike right? I love the card and box at Susie and Vicki's (awesome colors-makes mine look harsh.LOL)!! Now, answer me this everyone, do I need to put some candy out there to get more followers or do I enter as many challenges as possible? I truly appreciate your feedback! Enjoy your day-I know I will. Cheers!!:)

Coco Kitty!
Hiya! I got this Digi yesterday from Pink Cat Studio, and I had to create something with her. I made another card too with Prairie Fairy's newest stamp, but you'll have to wait and see! The card looks very Chanel-like. And of course, I had to add a lot of pearls, jewels and lace for a chi-chi look! I'm going to check-out some challenges now to see how I placed. It's going to be a busy week-end- lots of yard work and I have to put up shelves and convert our un-used toy room into my card-making room. My dining room is starting to get cramped with all my supplies, even if they're in totes. Anybody else have this problem? Have a great week-end! :) T-Bear

Very Vintage!
Okay, So I think I'm way out of my element. I'm so used to stamping and coloring images. I tried using my sewing machine to make it all vintagy, bought new needles, thread-u name it, and the darn machine kept jamming. I was sooo p.o.ed. I did have a beautiful Mary and baby Jesus stamp from Hero Arts, but one of my friends, who's also a DT at Susie and Vicki's Craft Challenge, made a card with a similar image and I totally didn't want her to think that I copied her!!! So I'm entering this card in that challenge and in the Winter Wonderland challenge-this week is embossing. The very cute image I got from Vintage Clipart (my daughter pointed out that the alphabet letters are her initials & they are), the pearls are Kaisercraft, the lace I got from my mama! She kept all kinds of ribbon and wee flowers from our wedding decorations. Three girls-she's got quite the collection. Let me know what you think!:)

All A-flutter!
Well, I didn't get picked for the DT at Prairie fairy, but I'm so honored to be part of the guest designers coming up!! I can't wait! So thankful for all the help I got last night to re-tweak my site. I'm so grateful!!! But this morning I couldn't find the watermarks we worked on or the picture. So I tried my best to remember everything this morning to redo all the work we accomplished last night, but no such luck! I told you my roots are really blonde!!(sorry, if I'm not being p.c.-my bad!) I'm entering this card for Prairie Fairy Fridays challenge: (Grommets and Strings.) Lori jinxed me with her crop-a-dile story,(I hadn't had a problem before, but my first two grommets were nightmares, the second two were all right. (just kiddin' Lor!;) I'm also entering it in the One Stop Craft Challenge (things with wings), and at Our Creative Corner (beautiful butterflies). Have a great day!

Hula, anyone?
Happy Sunday! I'm so full of anticipation right now! Prairie Fairy is going to announce her new DT members for her site. I can't wait!!! Okay, now anybody who knows me as a teacher knows that I'm a little obsessed with China and Hawaii. Anytime I find something about these places, I have to have it, 'cuz I can add it to my theme units. So, I found this image from Pink Cat Studio. I'm entering this card in the Cute Card Thursday challenge#108 This week's theme is"Touchy Feely" and this card has lots of texture. The parasol can come out too, I just slid it in, behind the sentiment. The person who gets this card can whip out the parasol, put it in a cold drink, invite me over and listen to Hawaiian tunes!Ha Ha! By the way, does "mahalo" mean thank you or something else? Any way, I hope you enjoy-I'm heading outside to put my mini Xmas trees and lights away (lol). Talk to you soon! T-Bear :)

Childhood memories
I'm totally excited!!! I made the top three for Prairie Fairy Fridays challenge! What an honor! It made my day. Thanks so much! So, this is another image of Prarie Fairy's (Helping Hand) and I'm entering it in the Childhood Memories Challenge no.86 at Cupcake Craft Challenges. This image reminded me so much of my little girl when she was about three walking with my nephew ,T.A. These two have the same birthdate and a "love-hate" relationship, and one day they were just holding hands and being so peaceful, it made me go "Awww! Where's the camera?" But this moment only lasted about a minute and they were back at it. lol. I'm so glad you created this image Roberta! I think I may give it to him when he's older. Have a great week-end-the sun's supposed to shine the whole time too! Trish
Challenges,challenges!
Well, now that I have a blog, I might as well start entering some challenges. Miss Mousy down below is for Prairie Fairy's Friday Challenge, Week#14. Cross your fingers for me!! :)
XMAS CHALLENGE No.1
The Xmas card is for Susie and Vicki's Blue and Silver challenge. The digi is Lily Winter Fairy from Pink Cat Studio.

My Bébé's Confirmation
My seven year old daughter's Confirmation is this Friday evening. She's pretty excited about it, because after this sacrament, she can help serve mass as an altar-girl. And she says, that's the best part- I can ring those bells!! For my followers who don't know me personally, I'm Franco-Manitoban and so are my kids-hence the French card. The digi is from DigiStampBoutique, the patterned paper (Floral) is from an awesome kit I bought at Costco, the green is K&Company. The cross is actually an earring (te he!) I'm putting the other one inside her card, and then she can wear them for her ceremony. I also wanted to say thanks for all the support and good wishes you have all given me. I'm not worthy!

The apple doesn't fall far!!
I wanted to say thanks to my friend with wings , who came to my rescue! She helped me sooo much last night and explained so many things regarding the digital world and my blog. I'm so grateful! My ten year old son has been so pumped that his mom now has a blog and he wanted to add his card that he made two nights ago. He created the robot image on paint a couple of weeks ago, and e-mailed it to me. He told me that he sent me his own digital stamp! He designed the whole card himself and left glitter everywhere! He said, "Mom, I took your idea for the corner jewels, that's okay right?" My cup runneth over! Anyway I thought he did a super job and I wanted to show off his little materpiece. Good job Coco! Enjoy!

New cards to see
I made these cards to use up my Easter images. The digis are from Digi Stamp Boutique. The Valentine Fairy is a card I made at Roberta Lalibertés card workshop this past February. You should check out her digi site: Prairie Fairy Designs. I hope you enjoy!! :)
I used baby oil and blending stumps on pencil crayon to get this effect. It works really well.
This is the card that I made at Roberta Laliberté's class. The image is from Prairie Fairy Designs. She designed the sketch, cut the paper, everything. I just colored, stamped, aged and assembled it. She's so talented!!!
I entered this card (below) in the Penny's Paper Challenge.
