Okay, So I think I'm way out of my element. I'm so used to stamping and coloring images. I tried using my sewing machine to make it all vintagy, bought new needles, thread-u name it, and the darn machine kept jamming. I was sooo p.o.ed. I did have a beautiful Mary and baby Jesus stamp from Hero Arts, but one of my friends, who's also a DT at Susie and Vicki's Craft Challenge, made a card with a similar image and I totally didn't want her to think that I copied her!!! So I'm entering this card in that challenge and in the Winter Wonderland challenge-this week is embossing. The very cute image I got from Vintage Clipart (my daughter pointed out that the alphabet letters are her initials & they are), the pearls are Kaisercraft, the lace I got from my mama! She kept all kinds of ribbon and wee flowers from our wedding decorations. Three girls-she's got quite the collection. Let me know what you think!:)
Gorgeous Trisha, I can't believe it's out of your element, it's gorgeous! Sucks about the sewing machine, mine does that everytime I try to zig zag...ahhh! Sorry about killing your idea with the other stamp, truth be told I made a different vintage card (better) but had to make this one instead, I'll explain next week! And copying... wait until you see Roberta's and my cards for this week, we just felt the same inspiration, it's not stealing ones ideas! I did mine first but hers just blows mine out of the water!
